When they are little like that and have diarrhea real bad, it can totally throw off the balance of bacteria in their guts. Also, Peoples Pharmacy has probiotics too. Our doctor suggested Lactobacillius granules (you can get them at CVS and also HEB from the pharmacy. My son had the worse diaper rashes, and he got Roto virus 3 times from day care!!

I haven't dealt with diaper rash that severe, but I use a naturally derived, organic ointment called Grandma El's.
